The plan was to create several typefaces, or ‘fonts’, inspired by the work of several artists. The creative constraints forced me to think outside the box and experiment with type design. However, being the actual typeface and how it’s built, rather than how I used it, was pivotal in my understanding of typeface creation. This shift away from traditional means allowed me to opt for atheistic impression over readability.
