Fleeting Thoughts

This experiment in type design explored the potential of a book’s overall form. It reimagined a childhood story of a skiing trip that almost went very wrong. The book features pages that open around the reader, immersing them in the environment and surrounding them with the narrative. Instead of relying on images to depict scenery or characters, type is utilised in the form of symbols, punctuation, and paragraphs that take on off-piste routes and shortcuts.
