This was a relatively simple project, made difficult by the limited photos of the boxers themselves. The client and I gathered what we could from social media posts and phone images. I then tried to create a design that worked well with the lower resolution photos. I was inspired by the Warhol/Basquiat exhibition poster, which depicts them going head-to-head with boxing gloves on. Using a typeface with a condensed form allowed me to fit a lot of text information on the page while still having space for the boxers.
