I worked as the creative director of WHEYD Protein for over a year and a half, managing the Shopify site, social media channels, marketing materials, and all other design needs. This fulfilling role allowed me to engage with many aspects of the brand that a designer might not typically experience. As an ideas person, it was enjoyable to come up with future plans and strategies for the business, and I gained a wealth of knowledge about general and social media marketing. This role required me to consider social media design and messaging more deeply, which is particularly relevant in today’s climate. Email marketing was also a significant part of my responsibilities, as I delivered a fortnightly newsletter along with weekly promotions. Throughout my time there, we ran various campaigns, always ensuring they stood out while maintaining the brand’s design language, which I helped solidify with brand guidelines and type specifications.
